The Ripon Police Department is a proactive agency, who believes that community partnerships, comprehensive policing practices, and the use of technological innovations are important ways of deterring criminal activity, and resolving criminal conduct when a violation of the law does occur. 
We proudly accept the role of the community care taker, as we strive to provide the highest quality of services to our community and remain diligent in our efforts in maintaining a safe environment for the people who live, work and visit our community.

We are proud of our department history, and thank all those who have served the Ripon community before us, and recognize that we must be at our best to carry on in our rich tradition of community service.
