The Ripon Police Department has been proactively involved in community activities and public events since the early years of the department. In continuing with our involvement and expanding communications with our community the department will be enacting a Guardian Program.
The Guardian Program is a community outreach program that will place special emphasis on neighborhood specific dialogue. It is hopeful that communicating with individual neighborhoods regarding their specific concerns at local neighborhood or town hall meetings, educational functions, media and at other community related forums will continue to foster community partnerships that result in resolution of neighborhood concerns.
The goal of the Guardian Program is to bring law enforcement and community members together through activities that are designed to inform and encourage positive interaction and build better community relations between law enforcement and the citizens they serve.
Please feel free to contact the Office of Community Outreach representatives with any comments or concerns affecting your community at gro.nopirfoyticnull@ytinummoc or by contacting the department’s administration at (209)599-2102.
The department will continue to host quarterly community meetings at the police department.
