Hundreds of Counterfeit Credit Cards Seized in Ripon Arrest
Ripon Ca. The Ripon Police Department announced the arrest of three suspects in connection with the seizure of hundreds of counterfeit credit cards during a recent contact at the Ripon Loves Truck Stop.
On 12-18-13, at approximately 0116 hrs. Acting Sergeant Stephen Meece was conducting a security check of the truck stop. He observed a parking violation and made contact with the occupants inside a 1998 Lexus. During the course of the contact, officers learned one of the subjects in the vehicle was on searchable probation for weapons violations. Another occupant advised officers there was marijuana in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted. Approximately 50 counterfeit credit cards, merchandise, documents, and receipts were located in the vehicle. Marijuana was also located in the vehicle. Three suspects were taken into custody.
BILLIE JEANETTE JENEA CRAWFORD (29) of Modesto, was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on charges that included conspiracy, ID theft and possession of forged access cards.
JONATHAN LYDELL DAMON JR (31) of East Palo Alto, was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on charges that included ID theft and possession of forged access cards.
DUSHUNTE LATRACE PETERSON (25) of Stockton was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on charges that included conspiracy, ID theft and possession of forged access cards.
Detectives with the Ripon Police Department, Special Investigations Unit (SIU) served multiple search warrants in Modesto and Ripon. Detectives seized Hundreds of additional counterfeit credit cards, merchandise, documents, and receipts.
